Terms of Service
The rules for booking and playing at The Pickle Camp. By making a booking you agree to these terms.
Last updated October 9, 2026
1. Who this agreement is with
These terms are between you and The Pickle Camp ("we", "us"). The Pickle Camp runs the courts, takes the payments and decides who plays.
The booking website is software we use to run the venue. Any question about a booking, a price or a refund is ours to answer, not the software provider's.
2. Booking a court
A booking reserves a named court for a stated period. It is permission to use that court for that time — nothing more. We may move you to an equivalent court if we need to, and we will tell you if we do.
The price is calculated when you book, from the rates published on our booking page. Rates can differ by day and by time of day; a booking that crosses a rate change is charged at both rates, pro-rated. The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay.
- You must be present at your start time. We may release a court that is unclaimed 15 minutes in.
- The booking is for the people playing, not for resale. Do not sell or transfer a booking.
- Give us a working mobile number — it is how we reach you if anything changes.
3. Paying
You pay when you arrive.
Nothing is charged through this website. You settle up at the venue.
4. Open play
An open play session is a per-head session on a shared court. You are buying a place in that session, not a court.
Places are limited. When a session is full you can join the waitlist; a place only becomes yours when we tell you it has. We do not promote from the waitlist automatically, so please do not turn up on the strength of a waitlist position.
- One place per person. We match sign-ups on mobile number, so booking twice with the same number will be refused.
- The player list shows first names only. We never publish anyone's number.
- Sessions may be merged, moved or cancelled if too few people sign up. You will be told, and you will not be charged.
5. Competitions
Entry fees, formats and scoring are stated on each competition's page when you enter. A competition may be a round robin, a mixer with rotating partners, a bracket or a ladder, and the format decides how standings are worked out.
Once a competition has started and results have been recorded, the draw cannot be regenerated — results people played for are not deleted to accommodate a late entry or a withdrawal.
6. On the court
Play in non-marking indoor court shoes. We may refuse play in footwear that damages the surface.
You play at your own risk. Pickleball involves running, sudden changes of direction and a hard ball; injuries happen. Make sure you are fit to play, and tell us about any condition we should know about in an emergency.
- Under-18s must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Follow directions from our staff. We may end a session, without refund, for unsafe or abusive behaviour.
- Look after your own belongings — we cannot take responsibility for them.
7. What we are responsible for
We are responsible for keeping the courts and equipment in a reasonable and safe condition, and for honouring bookings we have confirmed.
We are not responsible for injury, loss or damage that is not our fault, or for things outside our control — power cuts, weather, or a facility closure ordered by an authority. Where a booking cannot go ahead for a reason of that kind, section 8 of the Cancellation Policy applies.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Philippine law that cannot be limited by agreement.
8. Your details
We keep your name, mobile number and booking history so we can run the venue: hold your booking, contact you about it, and recognise you when you come back. We do not sell it.
Payment screenshots you upload are stored privately and are visible only to our staff while a payment is being checked.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version you agreed to is the one shown when you made your booking, and a change does not alter a booking already confirmed.
To reach us, call or text (0945) 530 8075, or message us on Facebook at m.me/thepicklecamp.
These terms describe how this venue and its booking system actually operate. They are a starting point, not legal advice — if anything here matters to you, ask us before you book.
